What To Do When Meeting Your Internet Girlfriend

Picture this. After driving for miles and miles, you finally get to see your long distance partner. You both decide to go to the movie theatre. You’ve chosen a good movie to watch. You’ve got the popcorn. And as the theatre lights lower, you both spend the next few hours in silence.

You may be lucky enough to get a whole weekend with each other, or maybe just a few hours, however long you are planning to spend with one another, choosing a date where you are both silent for the whole time is NOT a very good idea.

A better idea would be to chose some dates where you can chat and bond with them. I'm sure that you can think up some better date ideas if you really put your mind to it.. Here are a few to begin with.

Star Watching

Drive out 20 minutes away from the bright lights. Lay a blanket on the ground and bring some hot cocoa. For the computer smart people among you, there is an extremely cool iphone application called "Star Walk" where you can easily track all the stars in the sky. By doing things like these, it will give you both an excellent opportunity to speak about your future together and really grow your trust in the relationship.

Ice Skating

An outing to the rink can be one of the most fun of all. As you skate around you will find your self grabbing your companions hands. You could fall over a few times if it’s the first time you've been skating. But even the pros fall now and then. Gents, please remember to give your lady a hand while she gets up. And Gals, please don't laugh too much when you see your guy fall. This date can get very physical and pretty soon I'm sure you'll be pretending to fall just so that you can grab onto your lover.

Walking

Pack some sandwiches, a map, and go spend the day with each other in the beautiful great outdoors. Make sure to take a camera for those picture perfect moments, and remember to carry a makeshift first aid kit and plenty of drinking water. This can be a great activity to develop your abilities to make decisions and work with one another.

Aquarium

If you have an aquarium in your city, this can be an awesome place to go to. Chances are during the morning hours it will be fairly quiet and it will offer some awe-inspiring sights of dolphins shooting through the tanks. You could sit all day and talk with each other, learning cool things about the fish, and also learning about yourselves.

Dining Out

You don't always have to eat at a deluxe restaurant. I am sure your partner would love it if you made a meal for them. No matter where you pick to have your dinner date, nothing is greater than eating with candle lights and flowers on the table. And gents, let me give you some advice. A woman just loves it if you cook for them. Pasta is my favorite. Remember spaghetti isn’t just for a couple of animated dogs to enjoy.
